Sensitivity to others has been the guiding principle of Lama Al Sulaiman's life. She accepts what she has earned with almost embarrassed grace, and will probably still be surprised by future accomplishments. She knows who she is, what she represents, and what her achievements mean to other Saudi women. "Being elected to the Chamber of Commerce is pretty unusual, but it was not something I did alone. Many factors contributed to this success such as education, opportunities, positions, and commitment. By having a positive predisposition, I was able to face my biggest challenge – "Cancer”. This time it was me, my faith, and God's will, and I am proud of the way I overcame it. My next challenge? Whatever comes next, I am ready.
