Saud Al Gosaibi's roots in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia can be traced back more than 100 years. His grandfather, Hamad, started the family business in the 1940s under the name of Hamad Al Gosaibi & Sons; and following the entrepreneurship spirit of their late father, the three co-founders, the late Ahmad, Abdulaziz (Saud’s father) and Sulaiman Al Gosaibi, expanded the business and diversified its activities. Hamad Al Gosaibi & Sons started as a money exchange and a general store and then quickly expanded into trading & manufacturing and a few other diverse fields. Today, it has over 3,000 employees.
