Dr.Walid Fitaihi started his life with the aim to become a lawyer and defend human rights on an international level. His aim was to get a law degree from Harvard University as well as study the Islamic Law (Shariah) combining both and utilizing both for the good of human beings.
Once he arrived in the United States he realized that for him to go to law school he required an undergraduate degree so he proceeded with his Engineering Degree. During the begin- ning of his second year in engineering the idea of entering medicine was introduced to him by his father who was eager to see one of his sons go into this noble profession and be able to serve humanity.
