Mr. Bukhamseen built over 425 buildings of all types, each one a monument to different periods in Kuwait's recent history. The challenges we faced during the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's decided our corporate direction. From 1961 we were pushed from commerce into real estate, then from 1967 to the early 80's we were pushed back into commerce by the depression. I quickly saw a need for diversification in order to focus on different sectors of business during different times of need.
